About Me
Hello! I'm İmren, a curious industrial engineer who has transitioned into product management.
I was born in İzmir, Turkey, in 1994. My dad was in the military, so we moved around a lot, which gave me the chance to see many corners of the country before I found myself at ODTÜ studying industrial engineering. I graduated in 2017, ranking third in my class, and soon after, I stepped into the startup world, where I discovered product management and never looked back.
Since then, I've learned everything I can about building useful, thoughtful, and delightful products. I love working at the intersection of users, business, and technology and turning ideas into real value.
Outside of work, I'm an incurable romantic. I'm always up for a good romance novel, series, or movie. I love cooking, especially savory dishes, and sharing meals with the people I care about.

Trendyol is the largest e-commerce company in Turkey and one of the leading e-commerce platforms all around the World.
- Led end-to-end product lifecycle for key operations at Trendyol, including catalog, pricing, and logistics.
- Improved fulfillment speed and reduced cross-border costs by streamlining packaging workflows, post-processing workflows and integrating robotics and automation.
- Managed a large-scale product catalog and launched key integrations with marketplaces like Amazon and eBay.
- Designed and shipped a pricing engine to automate millions of pricing decisions across multiple platforms.
- Collaborated across data, design, engineering, and operations to deliver impactful features on tight timelines with multiple Scrum teams.

Evreka provides digitized, end-to-end waste management solutions for SMEs and large enterprises, enhancing efficiency and enabling data-driven decision making.
- Reported to the CTO and led a team of four to build smart waste management and logistics tools, scaling the product from MVP to global usage in 20+ countries.
- Owned and delivered products in CRM, task management, and route optimization, improving operational efficiency by 38%.

Fun Facts About Me
Food Oriented
I find the art of food preparation incredibly fascinating. Observing someone mix cake batter or chop vegetables always draws me in. There's no joy greater than witnessing the transformation of simple ingredients into something beautiful and nourishing. It's utterly mesmerizing.
7:55 AM Alarms, Never
I never set my alarm with the number 5 or its powers in the minute slot. For example, I'll set my alarm for 7:43 AM, but not for 7:55 AM. And, I'm an alarm freak for any reminder.
Quick Adapter
Growing up, we moved frequently due to my father's job, changing locations nine times! Although adapting to new places and people was challenging, the exposure to diverse regions and cultures gave me a unique perspective. I learned to adapt quickly, make friends, and explore. Looking back, I'm grateful for how these experiences shaped me.
Done is Better Than Perfect
I often lead in making decisions, planning trips, or pursuing personal goals. Though tough choices and risks can be challenging, being decisive helps me stay focused and achieve goals efficiently.
Tomatoes, Pass Please
Despite being a foodie, I have always strongly disliked tomatoes, particularly the juicy part with seeds. Something about the texture and flavor just doesn't agree with me. I'll pick them out of my food when I can.
